The shakuhachi on this list are not merely vintage instruments being recycled in an "as is" condition. Each flute has been totally restored and reworked to bring it up the to highest possible standard of playability. This hanko reads "Retuned by Ku Setsu" and guarantees that the instrument has been evaluated and undergone a complete retuning and bore enhancement to improve its acoustical and performance qualities.
