Geni Skendo is a shakuhachi & flute player based in Boston MA. Originally from Albania, he came to the US to study jazz flute at the Berklee College of Music. Geni recently completed a Masters Degree in Contemporary Improvisation at the New England Convservatory with shakuhachi as his primary instrument. He performs in New England & NY with several bands (Jazz /Free Improv/ Japanese Music/ Classical /Italian Folk Music) He has performed with Newpoli, Joe Morris, Elliot Sharp, Joe Hunt, Matt Marvuglio, Mark Walker, Dave Fiuczynski, Sal Difusco, Dave Harris, Felice Pomeranz and Dave Clark.
