TSUYUTOSHI (Cleaning Cloth)

Traditionally-styled cleaning cloth made with string and weight.
Essential for keeping the bore of your shakuhachi free of moisture, dust and dirt that will, over time, affect performance of the instrument.
This tsuyutoshi is manufactured in Japan specifically for use with shakuhachi.
It is made of finely-woven 100% cotton cloth, 25" x 26 1/2" inches (635 mm x 675 mm) in size.
The large area of the cleaning cloth effectively removes all of the moisture inside the flute in a single pass.
It's fine weave is designed to avoid getting stuck in the tapered bore of the shakuhachi as well as to increase drying time.
The string and weight are easily removed for machine or hand washing.
The bullet-shaped weight is made of stainless steel and designed to avoid damaging the interior of the flute.
Works with all sizes of shakuhachi from 1.3' to 3.0'. [AC-4]
